The response I got when a man in the elevator of the administrative building found out that I was a Sociology major: "Oh, you’re trying to solve the world’s problems?.. You know, I really admire Sociology majors because they want to make the world better, everyone else is just out for the money. I’m proud of you."

Hi Lauren - yes, sociology is about analyzing the problems and seeking solutions - it has always been a very political field ...so how is it going? What solutions have you found?
ReplyDeleteSo far your journal has lost of good insights and passion ..only thing missing is more use of the reading. Perhaps go back and add them to your entries that lack a connection and then in your new ones make sure you use them to help in your analysis ..etc.
